Who we are

The Inspiration Trust is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us through the contact form.

The Design & Technology Directory is the online home of the printed directory handed out at The Big D&T Meet, organised by The Inspiration Trust. The site is built and maintained by everydaycreatives.uk.

What data we collect

This directory is a browse and search resource. We do not run advertising, and you do not need an account to browse. The only personal data published on the site is the contact information that listed organisations choose to share.

If you are an organisation, we store the email you sign in with and the listing details you submit, so we can publish and manage your listing. We do not use these for marketing.

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. That message is emailed to the team and kept only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Why we can use it

We process listing details on the basis of legitimate interests: running a directory that organisations have asked to appear in, and that teachers rely on being accurate. Sign-in emails and contact-form replies are processed to provide the service you asked for. Analytics, where used, runs only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie choices link in the footer.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Resend (email delivery), each processing data only to provide those services to us. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to make the site work: one to remember your cookie choice, and, for signed-in organisations, one to keep you signed in. You can clear both at any time from your browser settings.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run third party analytics.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase any personal data we hold about you. As the directory does not collect personal data from visitors, these rights mainly concern organisations listed in the directory. To update or remove a listing, contact us using the details below.
